How I appreciate this bright break in a news day filled with ugliness.

Thank you. On another dreadful day, well a worse than usual dreadful, I appreciate going somewhere else with wine and mountain lions and the outdoors. Sigh.

Partly for that reason, we're probably going to invite visitors, especially wine club and cider club members, out to the farm periodically to enjoy it as a refuge. The challenge is that our "tasting room" is a tiny former sheep shed, and we would need to put out picnic tables and get more port-a-potties, plus we have our things keeping us busy. But we do want to share it if we can organize the logistics.

Thank you for being uplifting. I look forward to your missives. Though you don't know me, you've been my friend and guide for a very long time.

What a delight to read about your farm though sad about the mountain lions. This Substack is a welcome distraction from everything else going

on. Thank you!

Thanks! That's what the farm is for us: A wonderful distraction and diversion from all the crises around the world, from Washington to Ukraine to Gaza. And the wine/cider is our little sandbox where we can make something we feel proud of, and there's nothing President Trump can do about it!
