What a blessing it must be, Mr Kristoff, to return to your family and farm from the challenging work you do - out there in the unreal world. Thank you for that!
I'm looking forward to a glass of Kristoff Farms Pinot Noir soon.
My wife and I have enjoyed Mr. Kristoff's columns in the New York Times for many years! We always thoroughly enjoy every one of his columns and look forward to every one!!!
We are most appreciative of Mr. Kristoff's superb writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved your NYT columns and now enjoy your newsletters. I was introduced to OR Pinot Noirs about 30 years ago. I hope to get back there and of course, stop in for a tasting at Kristof Farms.
Absolutely loved this essay; learned a lot. Didn't know that these grapes were "fussy" like some newborns.
I live on the east coast. IF I ever visit Oregon, I will definitely stop by your farm.
Pinot Noir is one of my favorite red wines. I'm also fond of a few reds from Italy: Sangenovese and Montepolciano Abbruzze (sorry for mis-spellings). UGH.
